Reporter good morning, sam and chris. Timothy nguyen did not enter a plea this morning as his new attorney needs more time to look at his case file. Nguyen is expected back here downtown on august 7 to enter a plea at that time. We did speak with the Deputy District Attorney who is prosecuting this case. He tells us there are fooiive victims, three boys, two girls ages 12 to 15. Nguyen was arrested last thursday for allegedly spending sexually explicit texts to students while coaching them at the swim school in san jose. He would teach them about the sport of swimming and then progress to asking them for sexual favors and nude photos of the teens. There was never any sexual contact. He is faced with three charges for attempting to sway the witnesses and to tell them to keep quiet about the text and for molesting a minor. The Community Cares about active prosecution of any case where children are exposed to somebody in a position of authority and trust, who who exploits that position of
They believe the mother and the baby are in a silver 2005 Toubro Forrester with a california license plate. If you see the car, the baby or the mother you are asked to call the Sonoma County sheriffs office. Tragically 13 people were killed including the driver. It is not as easy thing. A deadly bus crash and investigators are trying to figure out what went wrong. 13 people were killed and more than two dozen others were injured. It happened near palm springs a tour bus crashed into a semitruck on the freeway. Sit in was shut down for several hours this morning and authorities worked to get people out of the bus and recover bodies of those who did not make it. Spoke in almost 35 years ive never been to a crash were there have been 13 confirmed fatalities. But that is exactly what authorities came across saturday sunday morning on interstate 10. 13 people died during or after this accident. That includes the driver. Another 31 were hurt.
