In hong kong, where there are concerns the visit of chinas president xi may have stoked divisions in the territory. 0n the face of it, mr xi was simply marking the 20th Anniversary of hong kong being handed back to china by the british, but he used the event to warn against any challenge to beijings control. The Foreign Ministry said the handover deal, Guaranteeing Two Systems until 2047, had no practical significance, and there are fears of new Education Programmes to bring the public into line.
