A Harker Heights man was arrested Monday after Killeen police allegedly found narcotics on his person while they were investigating an abandoned house.
Marcus McGee, 22, of Harker Heights, was booked into the Bell County Jail Wednesday on a charge of possession of a controlled substance less than 4 grams.
According to an arrest affidavit, Killeen police were dispatched to a vacant house in the 900 block of Santa Rosa Drive Monday at 7:38 a.m. in reference to a call about a potential âsquatter.â
Upon arrival, officers noticed the garage was boarded up with the exception of one missing board, according to the affidavit.
A 19-year-old man from Killeen attempted to use a stolen credit card at a local billiards bar Saturday evening, but the transaction was declined, police said in an arrest affidavit.
Around 11 p.m. Friday, a man who was later identified as Aaron Ludawn Pargo Jr., came to a womanâs residence on Lewis Street in Killeen, saying that he was hungry. The woman let him in, the affidavit said.
She told police that at some point, she had left Pargo unattended in a room.
He left and said he would return but never did, the woman told police.
Around 11:20 p.m. Saturday, the woman got a notification that one of her credit cards had been declined at a local billiards bar in the 2700 block of East Veterans Memorial Boulevard.
A 19-year-old allegedly told a Harker Heights police officer he âworked for a cartelâ before âthreatening to kill the arresting officersâ during an arrest Sunday, according to police.
Gabriel Luke Caprio, 19, was booked into the Bell County Jail Sunday on a charge of harassment of a public servant â a third-degree felony.
According to an arrest affidavit, on June 13 a Harker Heights police officer was aiding in the arrest and transport of Caprio for public intoxication when the teen âclaimed to work for a cartel and threatened to kill the arresting officers.â
Before Caprio was placed in a holding cell at the Harker Heights Police Department, the teen also allegedly spit on a police officer.
A Killeen man allegedly punched a Killeen police officer in the eye at the Killeen Mall while he was being placed under arrest Wednesday.
Joe Hartfield, 33, of Killeen, was booked into the Bell County Jail Friday on a charge of assault of a public servant.
According to an arrest affidavit, Killeen police was dispatched to the Killeen Mall Wednesday in reference to a disturbance involving an individual refusing to leave the mall.
Upon arrival, a police officer âobserved Hartfield acting erratically and refusing to leave the location after Killeen Mall security asked him to leave several times,â according to the affidavit.
