The Kerala High Court on Friday granted bail to former Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) PC Geroge in the two separate hate speech cases registered against him for making communal remarks against Muslim community
The bail was cancelled for violating a condition set in the bail order which stated that "the accused is directed to not make or propagate any controversial statements which may hurt religious sentiments of others"
The former Congress leader said tea laced with 'drops causing impotence' were sold in Muslim-run restaurants to turn people 'infertile' in a bid to 'seize control' of the country.
Ten days after securing bail for a case registered against him for making communal remarks, former MLA PC George has once again approached a Kerala court seeking anticipatory bail in a fresh case registered against him.
