Place at this very moment. The fire broke out in this twostory, fivebedroom home shortly after 2 30 this afternoon. Many were away shopping, but they called them to let them know to come home. The fire spread to another home. She described her reaction when she saw her house on fire. It was pretty awful. Reporter video shot by a san jose firefighter showed how much smoke billowed from the two houses. There was immediate concern it would spread house to house, not just on hampshire place but to the houses behind them. Were all safe and thats the important thing.
