Searchandrescue will begin a search at sunup. The san jose Police Department is adding this, a drone to their air fleet. Thank you. 6 35. What began as a typical San Francisco car theft took a strange turn captured on surveillance video. The video shows a red truck zooming past. Fast forward about 30 seconds and another truck is seen leaving a parking space. Then the red truck quickly backed into that spot smashing the car behind it. The red truck then took off. Police say the driver had just stolen the truck from a construction site and hit several other cars as he made his escape. They say the thief eventually stopped near San Francisco city hall and tried to run. But a nearby fire crew tackled him and held him down until Police Officers arrived. A lot of san jose firefighters were called to a house fire on hampshire place. Yesterdays fire went to 5 alarms. It destroyed one home and damaged the one next door. The economists are looking for a gain of somewhere between 225 and 235,000 jobs in the july jobs report which comes down tomorrow. Yelp turned a profit for the First Time Since its ipo in 2012. The San Franciscobased Online Review site earned 2. 7 million in the 2nd quarter. That compared to a loss of almost 880,000 a year earlier. Its revenue is up to 60 to 88 million. Reporter last week, the city council rezoned 879 acres of mostly open land around that new bart stop dubbing it an innovation district. There will be 4,000 new relatively affordable homes, and enough room for 12,000 new jobs. Combined with topnotch Public Schools in one of the safest big cities in america. Its going to make sure people look at fremont and actually consider it a viable place to locate their business to come to fremont to live, to educate their kids and to basically have a great time. Looks like actually those two accidents have been completely cleared off the freeway. So traffic a little bit better as you work your way westbound still seeing some delays as you work your way towards richmond. Southbound 880, we have reports of some debris in the roadway right at 23rd. Its still causing some problems there. Slow through oakland. Also south of there this trouble spot near industrial now in the clearing stages. But again youre backed up well beyond 92 through hayward through there.
