The streets of downtown san jose are quiet tonight. But, tomorrow, a number of streets near hp pavilion will be closed allowing thousands of people to pay their last respect to two fallen officers from santa cruz. Earlier today, crews spent the afternoon making sure everything was in place at the hp pavilion. More than 2 dozen officers did a walk through making sure the space is perfect for tomorrows service. Today, where we can all come together and celebrate what they gave to our communities and honor their memory. A salute will start in the morning with a 33 mile procession starting from the board walk in santa cruz. That ro session of plifs from all over will bring highway 17 to a slow crawl as it makes its way down to highway 85 and 87. Highway overcrossings will be packed with people wanting to pay tribute to the officers.
