Shore today. Warnings about rip currents are already in effect. Our meteorologist krystal klei is watching. Were watching for tropical impacts. Were talking about feeling some of the effects of jose as it skirts off to the east of us mostly out to sea. Well start with monday night for the major impacts. Jose a high risk of rip currents. This is why we have our first alert in effect. You need to avoid the water if youre down by the shore. Minor coastal flooding. This is minor. Some beach erosion possible. This is all due to swells that will be much larger as jose approaches from the south. There it is right here sitting directly to the east now of georgia and just to the southeast of the carolinas. A little different than yesterday when it was directly to the east of florida because its starting to move on a north track.
