Jesus garcia will go before a judge. Police found the body of maria santiago in the trunk of her own car at a motel in maple shade, Burlington County last december. They volcano said how they believe garcia killed her. They removed evidence from the couples home in olney. A man who terrorized employees at gunpoint at a haddonfield rite aid and carjacked a priest last month is now in custody. He got away in a priests car. The 27yearold dull ed the car a couple belongs away. Investigators also think hes responsible for a robbery at a rite aid store in logan township. Also happening today, Philadelphia District attorney Seth Williams will hold his Third Community walk of the summer. A former philadelphia narcotics officer who pleaded guilty to corruption charges will be sentenced today. Jeffrey walker admitted to robbing a suspected drug dealer. He agreed to testify against six other members of the narcotics squad. They were charged with beating suspects and robbing them of hundreds of thousands of dollars. In may a jury acquitted the officer and five of them have filed a defamation lawsuit against the mayor, the District Attorney and the police commissioner. Right now we have reports of anywhere from 10 to 12 people that have been displaced. Also some firefighters i understand were taken to the hospital. A neighbor told us that she heard an explosion and then her floor shook. She ran outside to see that facade just as it was collapsing. She thinks that the row home belongs to a 30yearold male who mostly keeps to himself and lives alone. You can obviously see how tough it is in the weather for the firefighters to battle this heat. Weve learned that the fire is under control and that just happened in the last few minutes. There are no reports of any injuries. The man who was freed from beneath a train this morning in philadelphia is in critical condition. Thats the update on his condition. They had to amputate his leg to free him from that train. The call came in around 2 45 this morning. A csx Freight Train hit the man on the tracks near grant avenue in the bustleton section of the city. Investigators still say they have no idea why the 46yearold man was on the tracks. This was a tense, dramatic situation. His left leg was pin beneath the wheel of the engine. A Surgical Team from Einstein Medical Center came out to the track, working on the guy for more than two hours. They finally amputated the leg above the knee. The dog went missing following a hit and run crash killing his grandfather and injuring his uncle. The family shared these pictures with us. Heres max with the officer and Osvaldo Arroyo who was hurt in the hit and run. Heres max in bed with 12yearold jonathan. Were told max is a comfort to the boy who was born baseline and deaf. Osvaldo and his brother francis were doing repair work on a van for jonathan on sunday. They added out around 10 30. Thats within they were hit on east luzerne street in juniata. Suv broadsided their car, Francis Arroyo was killed. Police found and impounded the suv. They are trying to find the owner, Alberto Vangas a local tattoo artist. Police say he shoplifted underwear worth about 20 bucks inso you had a shoprite store. The crime was caught on surveillance individual yes. Monday nights twohour chase finally ended when police used a bumping maneuver to stop ritters van. You see it flipped over got right side up. The fair fighters tell us that quickly the flames spread to two homes to the left side and the one home on the right side. They said all four were heavily engulfed when they arrived here an hour ago. Ten people have been displaced, two firefighters have begun to the hospital, appearing to suffer from heat exhaustion. They have a triage unit set up so they can rotate firefighters in and out. Now, the intensity of the heat of the fire has been a factor this morning, according to the fire director. He said the humid air is also affecting them because dont forget, theyre carrying an extra 50 to 70 pounds and constantly sweating as they try to put this fire out. Thats why the fire director is rotating crews in and out. So right now, heres what they plan to do. If you come to the lefthand side, you see ladder truck 4. The plan is to move ladder truck 4 in raise that ladder up and attack the flames from above. Because if you can look through the top windows of the gutted homes, you see that flames are still under way and heavy smoke is billowing across trenton.
