The calendar, which was approved by a 6-1 vote, sets next year s spring break for April 12-18, two week later than this year s spring break, which ran from March 31 to April 2. I just remember this year, in talking anecdotally with staff, with students, they were very burned out, couldn t wait for spring break, and on this calendar, spring break would be a week later than it was this year, Sieren said, adding that he felt a late spring break would make the remainder of the year difficult for seniors to concentrate as they would return with only four-and-a-half weeks left before their last day.
