Burlington, IA- The Burlington Police Department is investigating a shots fired incident that injured one person. According to a news release, on Friday, December 10th, 2021, at approximately 11:41 pm the Burlington Police Department responded to the area of Washington Street and Argyle Court regarding reports of multiple shots being fired. Upon arrival, officers located an individual who had sustained a gunshot wound. The individual was transported to Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in West Burlington for medical treatment. The injuries appear to be non-life-threatening. No further information was released.
