The plane cruised around the bay area for quite a while and then the flight crew preparedded again to land. There was a potential problem with the landing gear and everyone onboard had to prepare for the worse. We were given the full brake crash brace mode with flight attendants screaming at us at how to do it. It was petrifying. Big thunderstorms and strong thunderstorms along the pinellas and pasco county coastline. It is moving its way onshore and these will drop an inch, inch and a half of rain in short order meaning that we may pick up some additional flooding in morning, and thats why the flood advisory is out for those three counties, and they will run through 10 15 this morning. And we will have to watch and wait and see what happens with these storms as they start to move further inland whether they prompt more advisories, whether they just weaken and you have
