We continue to follow trough hernando. Tropical storm hernando. Im gee. A huge storm pushing through georgia into South Carolina. Extends from virginia down to the middle of the gulf of mexico. It did make landfall at 1 30 this morning at a category 1 hurricane with 80 winds along the panhandle of florida, making it the first hurricane to make landfall in florida in 11 years. I can barely believe it. The Flash Flood Watch does continue through the evening. We have, obviously, a saturated ground, plus we have the threat over the next couple of hours of high tide combined with downpours. These are the feeder bands that in the clouds in citrus and hernando county. Were seeing popup showers worsen the flood threat. We do have some clearer conditions finally through most of pinellas, hillsborough, and northern portions of polk county.
