So colleagues, i know that all of us know susan as the director of sunday street since 2008 she brought this event from columbia to give it our San Francisco flare and activate pedestrians and cyclists and kids and seniors and adults in every neighborhood from the embarcadero to the www. Drnpa. Org of town to the bayview to be part of the moment sunday streets has grown to now a wonderfully large staff of interims and volunteers many of you know seung has been an amazing fundraiser youve hit up every one of you and anyone that has money to support in incredible event. When i heard you were going to be departing i was concerned i was sad but i know that sunday streets is a Community Experience th

And that is your quorum and makes five and we had five people and we had three legislative people and two from the advisory board. And that is five people, that makes up the committee. And that is the quorum. Okay . I ruling on that today, that was a quorum. Do you understand that . I will go over it again. We have the committee consists of 8 people. Five from the advisory board, and three from the commission. Five plus three is eight. Eight people makeup a committee. And you need 4 plus one for a quorum, which is five. We had five people there. And that is the quorum. Okay . That is. There was a quorum. The Long Term Care council committing, any other questions . Good morning. And if it is. And so the council met on thursday september 11th and there were three major items on the agenda, and the first was the care task force, and which is about looking at the needs in the community and identifying resources and needs. And the council heard the recommendations from the four work groups. And over all, recommendation is to have a care advisory board, and that would operate under the long term coordinating council and one of the cochairs of the task force is our very own anne hinton and if you have questions i am sure that she can help with that. Another issue that came up on the council that actually has been coming up in the community quite a bit is, looking at the group of people who are long term survivors of hiv and aids. And there is a great tag line about envisioning our future we never dreamed of. And so it is for the group of people who are dealing with the issues that people had not planned for and so there a project called community connect, which may be similar to
Good for the station. And it gives us valuable content and makes us connection in the community. And speaking connection to the community, right below that, you see a couple of photos, from a really remarkable event that happened this last september called sites and sounds of bay view and this was the result of a collaboration between kalw and the San Francisco Arts Commission where we got the journalists and do the profile of the amazing people to do the work in the bay view and from that community, profiling their expenses what their committed to, and those were in the broadcast on the radio. And we had an event that was packed to the gills with the people that were excited to hear the stories from the community and it was an emotional night and a powerful night and to me it is one night. And it is one community, within this big bay area, but i felt like it was a example of what a station like kalw can do and we did it in partnership and that is the kind of thing that we could levera
Same time increase to do more to serve the community on the air and getting out into the community and so i just want to draw it. And we are happy to work at burton high and being able to work with the students and when we do a program with education and we can reach out there on the campus and we have a rent free space in San Francisco and that is nothing to look past and so we thank the district to all of the support that it provides. But financially when it comes from the cash support it is with the list eners and in particular with the major donors that has allowed us to put the station in a better position and also on this piece of paper the photo and i want to point out a couple of specific things.
