Tigers Travel To Kiawah Island For Second Spring Tournament
Clemson, S.C. – The Clemson women’s golf team is set to return to the course as they make the short trek to compete in the Palmetto Spring Intercollegiate from Feb. 21-22. The event, which is hosted by College of Charleston, will be held at the 6,021-yard, par-72 Turtle Point Course located at the Kiawah Island Resort in Kiawah Island, S.C.
The tournament marks the program’s first of two events held in the state of South Carolina as the Tigers are slated to host the Clemson Invitational from March 26-28 at The Reserve at Lake Keowee.
Tigers Finish Eighth at LTWF Heroes Ladies Intercollegiate
Clemson, S.C. – The Clemson women’s golf team concluded play at the Army Rangers Lead The Way Fund Heroes Ladies Intercollegiate on Tuesday, staying put on the leaderboard in eighth place. The tournament marked the season-opener for the Tigers, who played their first event in nearly a year at The Founders Golf Club in Sarasota, Fla.
Oklahoma State overtook Ole Miss on the final day of competition to claim the team title with a two-shot advantage at 15-under-par, while Maja Stark of the Cowgirls claimed the individual title with a dominant 15-under performance through 54 holes, solidifying a six-shot victory.
