Baton Rouge, LA. – The fourth-ranked Florida State Seminoles (15-2) won their last match of the March to May Tournament against No. 10 Georgia State. The Seminoles improved to 16-2 following the win. FSU 5, Texas A&M Corpus Christi 0 The Seminoles faced Texas A&M Corpus Christi for the first time this season and came away with the win without dropping a set. Anna Long and Jordan Polo were efficient in giving the Noles their first dual point of the match. The pair won 21-8 in the first set and shut down the Islanders in the second set 21-10. On court four Raelyn White and Caitlin Moon had similar success in their sets. The duo won 21-9 in the first set, but Moon and White did not let off the gas with a 21-10 win in the second set. Alexis Durish and Makenna Wolfe continued their impressive dual history with their sixth consecutive win on court five since being paired together. The Seminoles opened up the second day of the LSU Invitational with a sweep over Spring Hill College.
Alexis Durish and Makenna Wolfe continued their impressive weekend with another win on court five. The duo won 21-15 in the first set and played a great defensive game in the second set to win 21-10 giving the Noles their first dual point.
Anna Long and Jordan Polo dominated court two in the first set winning 21-8. The pair kept the momentum going into the second set, which ended with a 21-14 win.
Caitlin Godwin and Audrey Koenig sealed the match point for the Seminoles on court three. The pair took the first set to extra points but pulled out a 22-20 win. The second set allowed Godwin and Koenig time to settle in and the pair clicked, winning 21-13 giving the Noles their third and final dual point.

Court five got the action rolling for the Seminoles with Alexis Durish and Makenna Wolfe refusing to drop a set to LSU. The pair won the first set 21-19, and with great defensive play took the win in the second set 21-15
Shortly after, Caitlin Moon and Raelyn White gave the Noles their second dual point with a three-set bout. The duo dropped the first set by a close 21-17 score, then came out hot in the second set forcing extra points to get the 22-20 win. The third set went back and forth, but great play by Moon and White led to a 15-12 victory.

Due to inclement weather and delays, all of today’s matches were played to decision. FSU 3, No. 19 Tulane 0 The Seminoles started off March to May with a match against No. 19 Tulane. The two teams last met at the March to May Tournament last year, where the Noles came away with a 5-0 win. This win moves the all time record to 16-0 in favor of FSU. On court two Anna Long and Jordan Polo took care of business. Playing a great defensive first set, not letting Tulane get to double digit points, winning 21-7. The second set was much of the same, with Long and Polo quickly winning 21-10 giving the Noles their first dual point. Morgan Chacon and Carra Sassack had a close first set, winning 21-18.
