Good morning. Im francis rivera. Across much of the country support for the family of Michael Brown. Nearly 200 protests in wake of a grand jury decision not to indict officer Darren Wilson. Early this Morning Police in ferguson held a News Conference after a second night of looting and objects thrown at police officers. We were able to seize a molotov cocktail in the area of Church Street in front of city hall near the police car. There was an arrest made regarding that. I have the actual molotov cocktail on the tailgate of the pickup truck. We also seized a. 9 millimeter semiautomatic pistol. Rocks, bottle, a socket extension. Looks like broken tent poles that were hurled at the officers, pieces of asphalt, small bottles filled with probably something you could drink, perhaps water or gatorade. Other small bottles filled with what appears to be urine. Our plan moving forward is to continue to make sure this grid is safe, the businesses are maintained and that people still have their

It’s out with the shovels and hard hats and in with the permanent markers at the beam-signing ceremony on April 28 to dedicate the construction of a $10.75 million, 21,000-square-foot addition to the Coad Science Building. Construction of the addition will begin as the spring semester ends and will be completed by the fall of 2024. A fiberglass beam will be signed by the guests at the ceremony and then displayed in a prominent place in Coad during construction before being incorporated in the addition’s structure.
