Back over to you guys. San jose police are investigating the shooting of a suspected robber by a Security Guard at a downtown drug store. It happened just before 8 30 last night at the walgreens store on south first and east santa clara streets. Officers were called to the scene and arrived to find a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He is hospitalized with life threatening injuries. And there were several witnesses that do say they witnessed the security shoot him and that the security was attacked by the suspect. The s. J. P. D. Says the Security Guard is cooperating with the investigation. The shooting shut down santa clara street between market and send second streets for a couple of hours last night. The San Francisco Police Officer who was the target of a criminal investigation killed himself after a traffic stop. Kirchner. A burglar led San Francisco police on a rooftop chase and jumped from four stories up to try to escape, was now out of the hospital and was sent straight to jail. The unusual chase happened saturday morning in San Franciscos knob hill. Police say the man broke into two buildings, during the second breakin from a rooftop he made a wild leap from a tree but missed and fell several stories on to a parked car. Hes facing multiple charges including burglary, assault and resisting arrest. Its a day of celebration for millions of americans, 4 20. A reference to april 20th, a day to celebrate marijuana. The chase began when the chp stopped the blue honda for a Traffic Violation at san creek road and highway 4 near brent wood. When the officer approached the honda investigators say it took off. During the chase, police say the passenger tossed out two guns from the window and then when the honda was cornered in a culdesac, it plowed into the chp car.
