If we get normal rainfall through the rest of the year, you know, were going to be taking the edge off the drought, but its not going to go away. Hes carrying his little file folder that he keeps all his papers in. This gives us something to work with. We were just you know, were just grasping at straws just trying to figure out what happened. East bay 73, check it out in San Francisco, youre actually averaging warmer than the east bay, the peninsula and the south bay, thats because we have a little bit of an offshore wind helping to heat up downtown. Right now a magnificent shot. As we head through tomorrow morning well keep the clear skies in place. The only thing you need to worry about is making sure the sunglasses are in the glove box. You can pull them out. San francisco will start with 54. East bay at 47 then back towards the south bay. Well begin at 53. We havent seen too much of a change here since about last wednesday or thursday when this area of High Pressure built in. With that sitting off to the south at least for one more day well see this storm track stay off to the north. But eventually well see this pattern break down and it is going to bring us that possibility of rainfall. You probably noticed that on the scrolling sevenday forecast at the bottom of your screen. But well take to you the futurecast so you can get a closer look at the timing on this. What you see here is tomorrow afternoon well begin to see high clouds increase through the afternoon. So not quite as much of a warm day as we had today. By 11 30 on tuesday, well see the high clouds rapidly increasing. Then by wednesday morning spotty showers likely picking up in intensity by the afternoon on wednesday. Then by wednesday evening well find a band of some heavier rainfall moving across and that likely will stay at least the chance of scattered rainfall through thursday morning. After thursday morning, well begin to clear out. So the big question always is, especially with three weeks of dry weather, how much rainfall will we get . Not a bigtime storm system, but enough to get that ground wet again. You can see for the south bay at least a quarter inch in san jose, also for gilroy, San Francisco, about the same thing. Once you get right here to napa and santa rosa, 290. 29 to 0. 35. Nonetheless were dw for at least a quarter of an inch. As we take a look at the micro climate forecast for tuesday, you get one more nice day. And this mild weather, then those temperatures again dropping dramatically by wednesday. That will put us in San Francisco again at 75 in the financial district, 73 back towards the marina.
