Thousands of Memphis, Light, Gas & Water (MLGW) customers were left without power after strong storms swept through the Mid-South early Monday morning.
Severe Thunderstorms that quickly unfolded in the Mid-South starting around rush hour today, April, 2, has caused a number of residents to lose utility power.
Between 3,000 and 5,000 Memphis, Lights, Gas and Water (MLGW) customers lost power due to cars hitting poles in Wednesday s storms, the utility company said.
Company officials current plan to address the issues caused by outages is to continue vegetation management, but that may not be working as well as they’d like either.
