Thousands of Memphis, Light, Gas & Water (MLGW) customers were left without power after strong storms swept through the Mid-South early Monday morning.
MLGW again warned customers to not give out personal information and to "remain vigilant" in protecting their account. It also said that an "essential" way to "thwart scams" is by keeping contact details up-to-date.
Memphis Light, Gas and Water (MLGW) said on Saturday that it is focused on finding and fixing water leaks across the city as the return of full service is still unknown.
