As we look at what were expecting today still some drifts of smoke coming in especially for parts of the north bay as well as the bay and the coast. The east bay will have the worst of the air quality as we look at some better air quality for the south bay. Ill continue to monitor that, and well talk about temperatures coming up. Now, its not just this aquarium. Zoos, indoor museums, and inperson learning are all resuming today. And many aquariums like this are doing so at reduced capacity. They say theyre excited to welcome back some of those furloughed employees after being closed for 27 weeks, as well as greet some of those new faces. But they say along with those animals, things will look a little different and its all in the name of safety. Take a listen to what the president of this aquarium says those visitors can expect. Our protocols are different. Our entry point and egress points are oneway traffic only. We have removed all the tactile exhibit experiences including our touch pool. We have 6feet markers. Officers had been at pippin and apple street. Police in san leandro say at 11 00 officers pursued a suspected stolen

They say that it happened around 11 00 and officers pursued a suspected stolen car into oakland before the driver crashed into a parked car on pro main street and then emerged with an assault rifle. That is when one of the officers opened fire, killing the suspect. The shooting scene is about a block away from where that crash happened. Police are taking over the investigation in oakland and we are going to be on the scene and we will have an update in the next half
