This is a great morning crew, even through the afternoon. I was here last week with doug. Lets get to the weather. We had clouds locked in all morning and fog around this morning. Its lifted so were not seeing bad visibility. The visibility isnt bad at all. Heres a live view outside. The fog has lifted and clouds are still low. Driving conditions are fine across the area. As far as temperatures are concerned, not too bad either, 49 degrees in the district. By noon well be around 51. The clouds are still going to be staying locked in and by 4 00 p. M. , its going to get breezy, 49 degrees and the winds will be increasing and 41. It will be colder overnight tonight
Yesterdays rain. Heres live doppler 7. You can see the green covering the entire bay area. There is light rain falling all across the region but nothing heavy like yesterday and weve got lighter winds as well. However, there is a Flash Flood Warning in effect for this Little Corner in the southeastern Santa Cruz Mountains just south of gilroy along highway 101. A portion of the highway is covered by this until 5 30 this afternoon. Also parts of santa teresa boulevard and mesa road. The warning means flash flooding either has begun or is imminent but this warning expires in just an hour and a half. Lets hope for the best here. Heres our storm impact scale, whats left of this current storm. Well see light showers up to a quarter of an inch of rain is possible. Minor ponding is possible as well. Nbc bay area news anim laura live turning to your microclimate forecast. That fire was contained to the third floor. When crews arrived they found a woman in the 40s on the second floor with burns to the upper half of her body. She was take not to the hospital with serious injury. During the rescue a Fire Fighters leg went through one of the floors. He was able to get it out, hes okay, doesnt have any injuries. Elaborating more on difficulties of putting this fire out. Its hard for the trucks because theyre large. We can only get one in. Once the truck is in here then its able to get an Engine Company in here. A lot of times we have to get our equipment and tools into the area. But they did a great job of placement of their riggs and were able to get to the person and to the fire right away. Reporter definitely a challenge for those fire crew. They didnt give me an update as far as the condition of the victim that was inside and there is also no zaj to nearby structures. I am being tol

Had a clean slate this year. I want to share with you what you can anticipate. You see those clouds in the San Francisco area . Just a plume of moisture in the form of clouds right now. Thats about 40 miles wide taking aim on the bay area into the south towards monterey and all the way into San Luis Obispo. It could shift a little bit to the north. Right now computer models have it taking a direct aim into the santa cruz area where well see a foot of rain over this saturday and sunday. Mostly cloudy skies right now but we have a lot of cooler air mass in place. We dip to 33 in santa rosa. Otherwise we are in the 40s. We have some areas of patchy dense fog in petaluma, drifting into novato. Today, our temperatures will reach the 50s across the board. It will be cooler. Barely up to 50 degrees in napa so the bulk of your day will be in the 40s. You will require that jacket heading on out. You will not need that umbrella. Were going to go ahead and track the timing of this storm and tell
