Thank you, mike. Two contra costa Sheriff Deputies are recovering after being shot during a standoff, it happened last night around 9 00 just east of brentwood. Authorities say that the suspect came out of a home and fired a shotgun at members of a s. W. A. T. Team. Deputies returned fire killing the suspect. The two deputies were taken to the hospital, Officials Say this all began as a Domestic Violence incident yesterday morning. A woman reported the suspect held her hostage overnight, poured gasoline on her and then threatened to laight her on fir.
