Nevadans will begin deciding the future of our country. Most of the early voting sites open at nine in the morning. 8 news now reporter karen castro takes a look at final preparations and how clark county is keeping voter information safe. karen castro were inside the clark county election department. This is where they keep all their equipment. In fact, these are the machines that are going to be going out to the different sites. Crews have been out all day setting up 28 early voting locations around the valley. Clark county began using touchscreen machines in 2004. These macn provides a paper receipt copy that is used as a backup. The cartridges inside the machines are taken out daily during early voting and brought back to the election department. Where they are stored in a vault overnight. The Trump Campaign says volunteers found graffiti on the side of the building at 6 30 this morning when they arrived. I got here, looked at it, said this is a shame. This is a historical building, the ruby building on 18th and clarkson here and theres actually people who live up above, but the main graffiti is on their side of e on the residential building. Tonight mayor lisa gilmore was unrelenting, demanding the 49ers physically hand over its financial documents. At this point were suppose to be making decisions about the stadium and we have not seen a single document in two and a half years. Reporter city funds may have been used to subsidize nfl games for police. If that is true they would approve voter measure j protecting the citys general funds. Tonight representatives fired back saying that the team is in compliance with their agreement. And for them to say that none of these documents have been provided for two and a half years is just wrong and misleading and it is inaccurate. Its not fair or right. A trend we are noticing is more people seem to be taking the entire week off. The last couple of years the trend has been that the friday before thanksgiving week and then the sunday after tend to be our peak days. About 150,000 in and out today. We about 165,000 last friday. Expecting about 160,000 this coming sunday. Now, i mentioned San Jose International earlier. No delays are being reported there or at oakland.
