I had a bit of a treat meal and its important to teach them food doesnt appear on the table. Of to shop for it, prepare it and serve it. So it was definitely a parenting win in my small book. I agree. We are trying to teach our girls how to do that. They are getting pretty good. We have a lot of time with them. What about you, mike . Well, im no chef, you guys know that. Im not in the kitchen for preparing big meals. Im more of a cereal and milk guy, lets have a bowl together. Thats how i bond with my children. At the same time, they are in the kitchen with my wife and learning a lot because shes been making a ton of great meals.
