Connecticut authorities are investigating a cash scam where an unknown individual posed as a bondsman. The victim handed over cash after being falsely told their family member needed bond money. Later, they discovered their family member was not in police custody. They say this isn’t the first time it’s happened either, warning everyone to be vigilant of this and other scams making the rounds.

In New Milford, police are seeking 4 suspects who they say broke into a medical equipment facility last weekend. New Milford Police say it happened on Saturday at MEDInstill, and the four left behind significant damage to the building. The four wanted suspects were caught on surveillance video roaming through the building. New Milford Police ask anyone who thinks they might know anything about it to contact them.

A Connecticut church pastor was arrested after he was pulled over for a routine traffic stop and crystal meth was found in the car he was driving. 63 year old Reverend Herbert Miller of Woodbury also had a suspended license for failure to maintain insurance according to Connecticut State Police. After he was stopped on Friday, he faces charges including operating an unregistered motor vehicle, illegal operation of a motor vehicle without minimum insurance, possession of a controlled substance, use of drug paraphernalia, and possession with intent to sell a narcotic.
