Yeah i feel lucky. Reporter police say shortly before 2 00 this afternoon, this black pickup truck drove straight into a wall at lower moreland high school. Eyewitness josh, says he watched the car accelerate with no sign of braking. I saw a black truck. I saw it rev its engine and smoke coming from it. I her it gun down the parking lot all the way down until iheard this gigantic whack. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The truck struck several water pipes causing flooding and cutting power to the high school school. Less a minute away from changing dans lifer. Ive already thanked god more than once. Reporter the work now is speedy repair. Not only patching that whole but fixing any flooding left over and restoring power after what happened in this accident. Officers patrolling the shore line out in the water we have seen Us Coast Guard boat both also looking for this 14 year old, now, crews have been out since last night searching for this young man, we have video of them that this was made difficult by the pure fact that it was nighttime out. Now, we know that as we speak, there is smaller ship, specking cutter to be out on the water right now. Ocean city Police Departmental letter dollars coast guards of the missing swimmer. Made searching for this young boy difficult for rescue crews, the 14 year old last seen in the water near ninth street, Authorities Say the teenager was swim withing friends at the time. And it is believed he may have been slipped out by a rip currents. The others managed to make it back to shore. We spoke with the woman who called 911.
