Melany Slaughter on April 22, 2021 Tanner Baker (pictured above) came in fourth overall at the VHSL Class 5 Region A Cross Country Championship last Saturday at Bells Mill Park in Chesapeake. Baker ran a 17:25 at the meet and is the only Gloucester runner who qualified to compete in the VHSL State Championships in Leesburg on Friday.
