Duty. Family and friends and Law Enforcement from all over the state gathered at sa p center to remember officer caterman. Mike chose to live his life concerned for others. Friend and community and complete strangers. A depth of love that defined who he was. Thousands filled the lower sections of the center to hear testimonials about officer caterman. An 11 year veteran and killed last week on patrol while riding on north 10th street. A minivan and himself collided. It is the second time an officer was killed this year.
