Two 15yearold boys believe to be dead after vanishing under water. Dive teams are searching for their body at woodland reservoir. Last seen after jumping off of a boat in a lake. They had only minutes to act after a boy fell in the animals enclosure. The zoo is standing by its life or death decision some say. Reporter animal activists held a vigil outside the cincinnati zoo to remember harambe. The low land gorilla shot after a boy fell into the exhibit. We are here to represent harambe and not here to point fingers or to criticize. I hope that they are able to come up with ways to avoid this happening in the future. Cell phone video captured the terrifying moments after a young boy somehow wound up in a moat with a 400pound gorilla. The gorilla is dragging him around. The boys mother could be heard calling for him. I love you. Zoo officials made the decision to shoot and kill harambe and thought tranquilizing the gorilla was not an option. People that question that are monday morning quarterback backs or second guessers dont understand that you cant take a risk with a silver back gorilla. The zoo says the exhibit barrier is adequate and looking at ways to improve it. The boctiys family released statement saying he is home and fine. An online petition with more than 100,000 signatures calls for the boys mother to face charges for not looking after her son. Officials hope to open the exhibit by next weekend. A search is on for a shark that attacked a woman. It happened in newport beach. Officials say the swimmer was bitten by a suspect great white shark 150 yards offshore. The woman suffers large bite marks to her upper torso and shoulder. Officials are warning beachgoers to stay out of the water and those that live in the area shocked to hear the attack. We saw the commotion but we werent sure what was going on but i can tell you thats the first time i have heard of a shark attack and i have been here for 36 years now. We are told the woman is expected to survive. Rescue workers are working to save flood victims in southeast texas. Lightning strikes took our abc affiliate in amarillo off of the air and a coast guard Helicopter Air lifts a man to safety in houston. Rescuers searched the rivas river for a missing boy. The rain has stopped but the river is still rising and expected to crest three feet higher than a previous record last wednesday. Crazy stuff and we are dealing with heat inland. Crazy on the coast it is so cool. Strange to live in an area. We do it every summer and amazing to see it at the same time. You can be bone chilling cold with drizzle and fog and then on the other side of the bay area it is almost 100 degrees. You can get there without traffic. Good luck with that. The rest of you near the water will be so much cooler. Especially at the coast. Mid50s and concord 55 and San Francisco 54. Sunrise 550 and gaining one minute of daylight. Here is the deal. It is called the light on shore flow. Not Strong Enough to go inland but Strong Enough to take the ocean influence and hit the coastline at San Francisco. That is halfmoon bay. It is pacifica and you will be around 61 degrees and contrast that from martinez south to danville and livermore. 95 degrees every day. A good 35 up to a 40degree temperature spread for the entire week. Now why is that happening because we have a ridge of High Pressure that has decided to center itself just offshore. That gives us the lightest of onshore flow at the coastline. It doesnt make it to morgan hill. It is not Strong Enough. Only at the coastline. The ridge goes to oregon and washington and the low pressure and now the wind direction from the south and much stronger. Everybody is cooler by saturday and sunday the heat will finally be over away from the water. So here is the weather for the next couple of days. Staying cooler at the coast and near the bay. We will also at the same time stay in the 90s up to 20s above average away from the water and the warmest day for all of us will be friday and cooler weather is coming for the week but it is monday. San francisco tomorrow, 69 degrees. 82 for vallejo and 86 for san jose and 92 for concord and 93 for livermore. Pick your climate. If your boss will let you, you can work from the 50s to the 90s over the next couple of days. Friday is the one day that it warms up. 80s near the bay and 70s along the coastline but after that here comes the stronger onshore onshore flow.
