Earthquake this morning which woke me up but i was not overly concerned. I knew that it was between four and five mech so i went down and checked on everybody we were all good. Maybe you guys felt it more. I am a little bit closer to the epicenter than you are so we definitely felt it. The kids slept right through it and that is what a lot of people have said. Everyone but me slept through it. Maybe because i am a breaking news guy. We felt it for sure. My dog was definitely up. I remember in the mountains where it was located last time so i can tell the distance. So if you dont know where the epicenter was, it was in the Berkeley Hills near the claremont hotel. In earthquake country. It sounds like not much damage was done. That is great. It is a wakeup call literally and figuratively for all of us. We should be prepared. It wasnt a major earthquake and no reports of injuries or major damage, the middle of the night jolt was enough to get people talking about what they felt all morning long. Houston with two feet of rain and some areas have 30 inches with 10 to 20 inches more possible. For us it is about the coast or inland, if you are hot it is really hot. Some locations at 109 others in the mid60s near the coast. We have very subtle changes with 60s and then inland there are 90s and 100 with areas that have had a lot of heat, the heat advisory tonight away from the coast. Not even in the city, there is a good push of fog but sometimes the fog gives way to hot temperatures but a little bit more to the north especially in santa rosa i would think that would call you down but likely to stay in the 90s. A big fog bank on highway 1 up and down the coast so watch out there. Not enough of a breeze in vacaville. 50s and 60s with 58 in novato, bodega bay 52 degrees with 54 in winter.
