Results San Antonio, Texas – Five members of the Florida State swimming and diving teams competed in the TYR Pro Series at the Northside Swim Center in San Antonio, Texas last week. Jokubas Keblys and Arijus Pavlidi swam in the championship heats, while Sydney Boals, Yordan Yanchev and Peter Varjasi appeared in at least one consolation final each. “It was an awesome start to our summer long course schedule,” FSU head coach Neal Studd said. “We always want to support the goals of our athletes, even in the offseason and we’re really happy with how this meet went.” Keblys swam his career best in the morning heats of the 50m free, touching at 22.52, tying for fifth. At night, Keblys was slightly off that mark, placing seventh at 22.62. Both swims were FINA ‘B’ standards. The Lithuanian also competed in the 100 free, finishing in 19th place at 51.10.
