We had a lot of rain this morning well, pockets of rain but hopefully it is clearing out and it will bill be dry. We will have some cloud coverage with the chance of an isolated shower but for the most part the main action should be moving out. Right around 60 degrees dropping down to the 50s eventually. It looks like it will be a wonderful event. The weather for the most part should cooperate. Rainfall is pretty hefty for the coastal hills. Into the Sonoma County coastline over three inches. Santa rosa picking up over one inch. Napa at. 80, s
All northbound lanes were blocked along with three of the southbound lanes. No word on the identity of the person killed in the crash. All lanes on the 101 reopened in both directions. We are hearing a caltrans crew is due to come out sometime between 7 30 and 9 00 to begin repair work on the Center Divide. We are on standby waiting for chp to arrive to give us more details on the accident as the investigation progresses and to also give us a sense on how traffic has moved this morning with the rain. A reminder for anybody no matter what direction youre going the rain is sporadic so if it is not raining now it could be in five minutes or it could have rained five minutes ago so there will be slick roads.
