They are responding to 911 calls with their engine truck. It all the same equipment as an ambulance exception for a stretcher and they cant take people to the hospital. What does this mean for the residents of East Cleveland . A very major safety concern. Its a life or death situation for them. Theyre relying on mutual aid. Anyone that needs to go to the hospital with have to wait for an ambulance in the surrounding community. It overburdens them with our problems as well. I did speak with the East Cleveland fire chief.
