Wave heights a big problem. The strongest wave heights right now from lbi to rehoboth right off shore were looking at 12 to 15foot waves and this unfortunately is causing a lot of beach erosion and a lot of coastal flooding. And then we have the winds. They are whipping. A peak wind gust tuckerton 52 miles an hour. Were talking about Tropical Storm force winds and this has nothing to do with a hurricane. Delaware bay 48 Miles Per Hour, lbi47. The same in ocean city and North Beach Haven reporting a peak wind gust of 44 Miles Per Hour. Unfortunately the winds will still be a factor right into the weekend. Its going to take awhile for things to quiet down.
