The Skoch Gold award ceremony was held on May 27 in New Delhi. A DIPR report stated that the award was received by Khumeng, Noklak police personnel, and former Noklak superintendent of police, Dr. Pritpal Kaur Batra, under whose leadership the various life-changing programmes were initiated in the young district on the Indo-Myanmar border. The award recognises people, projects, and institutions that go an extra mile to make India a better nation.
