Positive setup was seen in stocks like M&M, HPCL, Mphasis, NMDC, Federal Bank, GAIL, BPCL, Power Grid, PNB, Canara Bank, ONGC, IOC, NTPC, Bank Baroda, Cummins Ind, SBI, Coal India etc. among others.
NMDC, under the Ministry of Steel, is Indias largest iron ore mining company contributing to around 20 per cent of the countrys demand of the key steel making raw material.
The Nifty future closed positive with gains of 0.46% at 21925 levels. India VIX was down by 2.34% from 15.81 to 15.44 levels. Volatility cooled off from its highs and gave way to the bulls at crucial support zones.
