India's largest state-owned iron ore miner, NMDC Ltd, on Thursday said it has no plans to sell iron ore to China and it is scaling up production to meet domestic demand.
The government has instead asked NMDC, India s largest state-owned iron ore miner, to focus on domestic sales, said the sources who didn t wish to be named as they were not authorised to talk to the media.
Over FY25, NMDC is likely to surpass a production of 50 million tonne, believes Motilal Oswal Financial Services. The traction in production volumes would be driven by improved capacity and strong domestic demand, it said.
