We are seeing some pretty significant delays into the Allatoona Pass. The crash happened at 11 45 last night and at one point, both directions were shut down. All lanes are open so traffic is moving in both directions but with the morning ride, on the westbound side, we are seeing some pretty busy conditions. It was slow out of tracy and noun house and making matters worse, it is right around greenville. It is a busy ride in that area. Katie nielsen has the latest information and she is in the Allatoona Pass with what happened with the fire. Reporter gianna, we are looking at this traffic backup that you can still see. You can see trucks, cars, just crawling their way along westbound 580 and you can also see the black charred grass. That is where this fire was burning overnight. As you said, it started right around midnight after a crash in the eastbound lanes. The fire then spread through the grassy median area between north flynn and grant line rhodes.
