As you can see, not much snow yet. There was light snow falling throughout the day, but as of right now, it will come in later tonight. It is extremely windy and cold out here. Were not seeing much sticking to the roads, but that does not mean it is not icy in other areas, and that is why they canceled or delayed schools today with buncombe County Schools. Decided to close because it would be unsafe for buses to travel on those icy roads to pick up students. Asheville city schools had a twohour delay today for the same reason. Heres another look at those gop primary results. Donald trump walking away with the vote there. Ted cruz and marco rubio practically tied here in South Carolina. John kasich and ben carson finished lowest. But again. It was jeb bush who announced hes dropping out of the race. Lets talk with wyff news 4s myra ruiz now. Myra. He said he expects to gather more votes as his gop opponets drop out of the race for president. So far nearly 300 people have showed up at Carolina High School to vote any democratic primary. Thats more compared last week with about 100 Republican Voters coming in here all day. We also stopped by the sears shelters, next to Mcpherson Park in downtown greenville. Were told they had a steady turnout with no major issues. Over at the scrolling school the Sterling School in the area of the Phillis Wheatley center. More than 30,000 people voted before 4 00. Just last week for the republican primary, only 25 people voted there all day. I voted for Hillary Clinton, not because shes a woman. But ive heard all of the comments and everything and i think shes best suited for the job. She will try to finish what president obama has started. All of her resolutions are superficial. Chris, what happens tonight . Chris tonight is going to get cold. That sets the stage for the storms on monday. We are getting more information. That storm has traveled a long way. It is traveling on the plains. It will track our way. It is one day and six hours away from us. Now we have a winter storm watch in effect for the upstate north of i85 in the North Carolina mountains and northeast georgia. The potential is for some significant ice and snow monday morning.
