Severe storms tore through the Hampton Roads region of virginia. State police say several key roads in waverly are impassable due to storm damage, as well as flooding and high water. Police are asking drivers to avoid the area for the time being. Storm damage was also reported in the town of newport news. Six people, including four children, are without a place to live after a large tree fell onto their home.
