South of i85, you will have low impact. North of i85, much like last storm, its going to be a difference of 510 miles of who will see moderate impacts. A very tricky storm to track. Tonight brings National Focus on the candidates to greenville. Tonight, they will debate on national television. And in front of a South Carolina crowd. I will step out of the way so you can see how grand this room is. Politicians have been in here all day. Representative sanford is there. That means for the other four on stage, this is a huge night for them. The republican field started with 17 candidates. Today only 6 remain. Tonight they will take the stage. I put this graphic together so you can see the order they will be on stage. It ted cruz, then donald trump, marco rubio, then carson. Then bebnn carson. Census numbers show South Carolina has a population of just under 5 million people. Almost 30 is african american. 5. 4 is hispanic. This is the first state that can give you a good read of the minority vote. Lets talk religion. Because South Carolina will give the nation the first real look at how that is shaping the political landscape. A lot of the people here cant get into the debate because there are only 1900 seats available. Here is the latest computer model. Tomorrow evening snow develops by 4 00 a. M. Monday morning. That will spill into the upstate. We get a quick halfinch to one inch. Quickly changes to sleep and freezing rain. That quickly changes to sleet and freezing rain. We will see the ice continuing, especially for the i85. The freezing rain continues until lunchtime, until temperatures begin to warm regular rain. The transition to rain is critical to our forecast. Right now it is showing it changes to rain by 2 00 a. M. If this is later or never occurs, we could look at a major ice storm. This is what is critical to the forecast. I think it will change to rained biorad 2 00. To rain by around 2 00.
