The accident, which may be disturbing for some to watch, happened in front of a crowd of almost 5,000 people. There it was. At least nine acrobats were injured. Two of them critically. Ringling bros. Eight female acrobats suspended by a hair hanging apparatus plunged to the ground about 35 feet, a male performer in the ring was also injured by the collapse.
