Police say she was walking home from a Christmas Party in surry county early in the morning on december 20th. He was following closley behind her boyfriend on the narrow burnt mill road when she was hit by a car. The young mother of three children died a short time later. State police say they found 47yearold Christopher Jackson in a near by home. Were told he was hiding his car behind the house. He was arrested and charged with felony hit and run. Today a surry grand jury indicted jackson on involuntary manslaughter.
