The statue of Junipero Serra was also toppled. Serra established the California Missions and is accused of committing atrocities against native americans. Were following developing news of a wreck that injured several people in san jose early this morning. That crash happened around 12 15 this morning on i280 near mclaughlin avenue. Highway patrol officers say four people had been taken to the hospital. Two have lifethreatening injuries. Investigators have determined there were multiple collisions involving five cars.
