Delhi High Court on Friday upheld the trial court order remanding NewsClick founder Prabir Purkayastha and the website's HR head Amit Chakraborty to Delhi Police custody for seven days in the UAPA case against them.
Additional Sessions Judge (ASJ) Hardeep Kaur passed the order after the Delhi Police told the Court that police would not require the custody of the two accused and that they could be sent to judicial custody.
