The funeral will take place saturday morning for a Johnson County teenager who died sunday in coralville lake. 17 year old tanner wymer and another man went out onto the lake in a lightweight canoe. But the Johnson County Sheriffs Office says the canoe overturned. The other man, 51 year old michael felton, was able to swim to shore, but wymer disappeared in the frigid water. Searchers found his body yesterday. Wymer was a student at Solon High School where he also played football and was a wrestler. His visitation will be from three to seven pm friday at st. Marys Catholic Church in solon. His funeral will be at ten saturday morning, also at st. Marys Catholic Church. Cedar Rapids Police are asking for help.
