The initial 911 call according to Police Sources came in just before 8 00 last night with the caller reporting seeing a flash in the sky. Nypd harbor units recovered offshore. The nypd believes at this point, only one person was onboard this twoseater plane. They recovered debris including a wing, wheel and tail according to sources. Were told the plane was headed from philadelphia last night to maine. The faa is investigating. The nypd does plan to resume the search for more debris, anything else that might be left later this morning. The Tyson Events Center was awarded 68thousand dollars for a study to look at physical improvements, as well as, a review of concessions and programming.
