Back. Valley fair mall is considering paid parking. It says in a statement that a secured Parking Program will not roll out until 2020. The Contra Costa County board of supervisors approved a ban on polystyrene food container this is morning. San francisco banned tyrofoam containers in restaurants back in 2017. The ban would apply to restaurants, food trucks and other vendors. It will take effect may 1st of 2020. Some revisions to that ordinance have been proposed. Californias attorney general just fired the latest shot in a fight over development on San Francisco bays shoreline. A developer has proposed building 12,000 homes on the former salt ponds in redwood city.
